Truth Is Divisive

My sincere thanks to Crucified Beyond The Narrow Gate for putting into a well-penned essay an elaboration of my thoughts, and ongoing declaration that Truth is, indeed, divisive. ¤¤¤¤¤ https://www.facebook.com/CrucifiedBeyondTheNarrowGate/ A fallible man who sits on a ridiculous throne wearing a wizard costume isn’t the standard in which infallible truth is defined. God’s Word is the only infallible-standard by which all things are defined as either being true or false.  And it just so happens that the sum-total of God’s Word declares the Catholic Church and all of its popes to be utterly reprobate through & through. God’s word is the … Continue reading Truth Is Divisive

Reprint: IT’S ABOUT TO GET REAL, Donna Wasson

IT’S ABOUT TO GET REAL By Donna Wasson January 29, 2017 NewsWithViews.com Imagine with me, if you will, living an existence of unspeakable luxury and supernatural power for millions of years. You are an angel of incomparable beauty, talent, and intellect, made to lead your fellow angels in worship of YHWH, who created you. No other angelic being comes close to being your equal, and you enjoy your heavenly station and level of prestige. You inhale the adulation and admiration of lesser angelic beings like incense, and it occurs to you that they should be worshipping YOU in addition to … Continue reading Reprint: IT’S ABOUT TO GET REAL, Donna Wasson

Anomia – Without Torah

Without the Law of God to guide us, we each go wherever looks best, missing the Narrow Road God has put in place for us to follow.  You are not to do as we do here today, everyone doing as they see fit, Deuteronomy 12:8 NIV http://bible.com/111/deu.12.8.NIV There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12 NIV http://bible.com/111/pro.14.12.NIV Scripture tells us that left to our own devices, we’d do what we saw fit in our own eyes, and not follow God’s Law.  This is the very meaning of apostasy (falling … Continue reading Anomia – Without Torah

Chonda Pierce to Perform at Inaugural Ball

Comedienne and “Queen of Clean” Chanda Pierce considers it “such a privilege” to stand up at Trump’s party.  She acknowledged that women all over the world don’t have the freedom to affect political change like we do,  and it is the right thing to do as a person of faith.  Referring to her Christian faith, she believes God has given her this platform for a reason.  I know if will be a fun event,  because she is a funny lady. Be sure to catch Chonda in the upcoming film,  “Enough,” in theaters April 25th. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/01/18/queen-clean-comedian-chonda-pierce-stands-up-against-backlash-over-her-trump-inauguration-gig.html Continue reading Chonda Pierce to Perform at Inaugural Ball

Christian Compassion and Nationalism

From my distinguished friend, Jack Niewold, who reaches into my thoughts, organizes the lot, and produces them in a most admirable fashion. Here’s hoping his hands don’t get caught on any gnarls in the process… Those of us who oppose illegal immigration are often accused of lacking compassion. It’s as though if you think that laws ought to apply equally to all people you are a bad person.  The question of human compassion, or in this case Christian charity, and a regard for such issues of national sovereignty and the rule of law, are understood by liberals as being mutually … Continue reading Christian Compassion and Nationalism

When Christmas feels Chaotic

When Christmas Feels Chaotic  Remember to Look for God by Lisa Terkeurst   We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it. Psalm 39:6   Last Christmas, I was rushing about, frustrated.   Every year I say I’m going to get better about scaling back so I can really keep my focus where it needs to be for the season. I have moments where I do this well. But I have other moments that are just plain pitiful.   Honestly, I can be an utter nincompoop. … Continue reading When Christmas feels Chaotic

Alétheia

This Is Important, my friends, and explains why God sends the godless a strong delusion.  Alétheia is the Greek word for ‘truth‘. The direct definition of the word is ‘reality‘.What the Bible reveals is the truth of reality. Those who reject it in part or in whole, are active participants in rejecting reality. Jesus Christ IS reality (as is His Word). He is the absolute epitome of what reality hinges upon. All things within our reality (seen and unseen) are held together by Him. He is the lynchpin of consciousness. Colossians 1:15-20 He is the only way to the Father … Continue reading Alétheia

Christian, Hear This

Miss Clara (Karen Abercrombie), from the movie War Room, prayed powerfully at the Revive Us live event last night. Christians from around the country were called together in theaters to learn what we can do to save America from the moral vapidity and downward decent of decades of sitting back from engaging in politics. The Family Meeting was full of godly wisdom for us here and now, among uncertain and difficult circumstances.  As the Family of God, we need to remember whom we fight, with what weapons, all the while keeping our eyes on the eternal.  For too long, people … Continue reading Christian, Hear This

How to Pray for America

This is directly from the National Day of Prayer website. “When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?” —Psalm 11:3 I believe our nation is in trouble today, probably more than I’ve seen in my lifetime. We are contending with issues that are causing the very foundation of our country to crumble. Our moral and spiritual roots are eroding, the economy is misleading, family life is disintegrating, and political forces are at unprecedented odds. There seem to be very few leaders who will take a stand for God and for His Word.It can be tempting to believe that America has … Continue reading How to Pray for America

Wheat and Weeds

The following is reprinted from The Prodigal Daughter on Facebook, October 5, 2016.  Photo by Tara Smithy. Wheat and Tares I learned recently that wheat and weeds look alike when they begin to sprout up from the ground, but as each matures, the characteristics in each begin to change. There are some types of tares or weeds that look exactly like wheat and only an expert can distinguished which is which until they have reached maturity. When the wheat has matured it bows its head… But when the tares mature they stand tall. This then makes the process of pulling the … Continue reading Wheat and Weeds
