Yahweh & the Elohim are Not God

Author Paul Wallis brings together several ancient stories in this video and seeks to divide the Elohim and Yahweh characters out from our understanding of God as Source of everything. As a Judaic Studies major and Bible student, I have often wondered how Yahweh (יהוה) could be described as a beast in various passages. The author clears up that confusion and offers a further explanation for our origins. An excellent and thought-provoking video. Please share thoughtful comments after you view this video. Serpent Seed and Man’s Fall

Previously published in 2017. In order to read the text of Genesis and be as true to the original meaning as closely as possible, it is necessary to go back to the original Hebrew. The Beguilement of Eve Beguilement is defined as “To influence by trickery…; mislead, delude. To take away from by cheating or deceiving. To charm or divert.” The Hebrew נָחָשׁ (nâchâsh – ‘ch’ is a hard guttural sound, like k) is derived from an unused word, but it makes a sound like the hissing of the snake, so the word (serpent) is the sound it makes. According … Continue reading Serpent Seed and Man’s Fall

New Year, New Mindset

From sermon 1/3/21 by R. Powell The King of Kings went into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, a beast of burden. 1. The greatest blessings come from the greatest burdens you bear. [Acts 17:25]2.  Jesus calls & uses the unqualified.[Luke 19:30]3. If you carry His burden, He does the heavy lifting!  There is a Savior who will help you. [Is.53:4-5]4.  The race is not to the swift.  The battle is not to the strong, but to him who endures to the end. [Ecc. 9:11]5.  You carry the burden, but remember Jesus gets the praise.  I’m just the donkey … Continue reading New Year, New Mindset

Come to the Altar and Meet a Man

If you’ve not committed your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, and you’ve never entered into the family of God, stay tuned and I’ll share with you shortly how this can be your day of salvation. If you’re reading this right now and you haven’t accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and you haven’t accepted His holy sacrifice on the cross to pay for your sins, it is absolutely impossible for you to have a solid understanding of His Word, the Bible (scriptures), where it’s also impossible to find protection from the Demonic realm and … Continue reading Come to the Altar and Meet a Man

Censorship of “Forbidden” Thinking Regarding Mankind’s Great Antiquity

The scientific establishment tends to reject, suppress or ignore evidence that conflicts with accepted theories, while denigrating or persecuting the messenger. Evidence is more than a compilation of facts. It requires continued scrutiny to the level of pointing to a different conclusion should the learned facts necessitate. Orthodox views of cultural evolution are based upon a chronology of civilization having started in Sumeria no earlier than 4000 BC. The theory does not permit an advanced civilization to have existed prior to that time. End of discussion. Archaeology and history lose their meaning without a fixed timeline as a point of … Continue reading Censorship of “Forbidden” Thinking Regarding Mankind’s Great Antiquity

Abduction Theology

As the movie “Alien Intrusion” comes out in limited distribution, I’ve read some reviews, not all of which were loving the spiritual aspect as depicted in Gary Bates’ book and movie.  The trailer mentions Joe Jordan of CE4—a man whose research brought me to the following conclusion: If alien abductions halt at the name of Jesus, it does not necessitate that the entities are demons, but it does prove they are under His authority.  From here, I refer the reader to my article of March, 2016:  The Spiritual Component in Alien Abductions, in which I discuss the very real events (as opposed to … Continue reading Abduction Theology

Notpocalypse: An Examination of the Revelation 12 Sign

Note: Before we get into the text, let me apologize for not getting this out sooner. I have been nursing bruised ribs, and my concentration has prevented me from pulling it all together. So this will be a bit more of a bumpy ride than I’d hoped. That said, let’s look at the text that has created such an uproar. A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to … Continue reading Notpocalypse: An Examination of the Revelation 12 Sign

Elul and 40 Days of Preparation

Elul is traditionally known as “the month of repentance,” and it is a time when people all over the world prepare for the High Holy Days. In the Jewish tradition, the month of Elul is a time of repentance in preparation for the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The word “Elul” is similar to the root of the verb “search” in Aramaic. The Talmud writes that the Hebrew word “Elul” can be understood to be an acronym for the phrase “Ani L’dodi V’dodi Li” – “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” (Song of … Continue reading Elul and 40 Days of Preparation

Warning for America

PLEASE READ Many believe the upcoming solar eclipse and the 40 day period that follows may be some type of “warning” for America. And traditionally, this 40 day period has been a time of repentance for the people of Israel… On August 21, a total solar eclipse will mark a trail from the Northwest US to the Southeast Atlantic Seaboard. The eclipse will occur on the last day of the Hebrew month Av, a day known as Yom Kippur Katan, the “small day of repentance.” The morning after the eclipse, Jews will begin blowing the shofar every morning for a … Continue reading Warning for America
